{Living Room Remodel}

Happy Friday!!!

I am doing a little piece on the before and after of our living room! We still have a few final touches and then I will post pictures of the decoration!  But for now I will have to stick to the floors!

We bought this lovely home last year and it needed some Love, lots of cosmetic love.  The green carpets and green and mauve wall paper! Did I mention the Pink walls throughout the house? Well on to the carpet! We bought this awesome flooring for the whole house and off we went! The upstairs was finished pretty quickly, but the downstairs, the main hub of the house, took some time

It was well worth it!

XOXO~ Liz

Cheyenne was our model. She is so cute! oh and Sasha and Winchester too!

P.S. Fall booth coming soon with a sneak peek!! :)

{natural home}

Happy Sunday!

I was checking out one of my favorite blogs,
{Chippy-Shabby} the other night and came across her article about Natural Home Magazine.  Oh! I settled back in the couch and pillows and was in bliss! That same night I went out and bought the magazine and thumbed through the pages over and over again.  You see the magazine was featuring Shabby Chic's Rachel Ashwell and they were sharing her secrets! This is good. Really good.

I love the Chandie! Look at those colors! To die for!

Such GREAT inspiration for my style. The pictures alone are worth driving to get the magazine!

Check it out!

a {BIG} thanks to Jeanine @ {Chippy-Shabby} for the article and inspiration for today!
Please go and check out her FAB blog!!

{White Wednesday}

 Happy Wednesday! I am linking up to Faded Charm for my first {White Wednesday}.  I am so thrilled! I had a lovely morning with Cheyenne and John in Lithopolis Ohio for the {Alley Hop}.  Lithopolis is a charming little town and they have a few quaint shops in town.  Check out the Alley Hop this week as it ends on Saturday and at each stop you can enter a raffle at each stop for a gift certificate!

My {White Wednesday} entry is this little {White} glass and metal dome that I picked up in {Morrow County Ohio} and I just had to have it! I paired it with a fresh Cilantro plant and my mothers English China and an old wooden chair.  ahhhh Love it!

Enjoy.

I already need a bigger space, but I am thankful for the one I have and I know that I can always expand! It seems a little bare, but I will be bringing in more stuff as the week goes on!

Please come check it out! I live close and will be updating it often!

{I survived HWY 127}

I survived HWY 127! Well maybe not the whole route, but that's what our shirts said!  Alina {my friend and brave soul} and I started our journey on a rough start.  As I was about to load up the truck, I realized that I did not have the key!  My husband drove 30 minutes back, gave me the key and a kiss.... Bless his soul!  Whew! We were in business. On the road to the unknown.  This was my first trip and me, being the non planner I am, decided we will go west on 70 and ask along the way and that is just what we did.  Our first stop to ask if we are close was a cute little Antique shoppe in Lewisburg.  A cute little lady behind the counter pointed us in the right direction and we were very close

We came across some yard sales on the side of the road and we were so excited! Alina and I love to dig and we are both very social so we made tons of friends along the way!  The first couple we met had this great house built in the 1800's and some cool barns.  We didn't really find anything there, but we did get a full tour of their house and got to use their bathroom too! Such a sweet couple!  Her name is Reba and she did the whole route last year!  She specializes in sewing pillows, aprons and upholstery! We have her email, business card and phone number! I told her I will never forget since I love Reba

Reba and her husband!

Cute little back sun room

Back on the road again we came across tons of little shops and of course we took tons of back roads!  We came across this cute Mennonite house and barn there I found the best white bench!  The sign read Church Pew $10! WOW! I grabbed the sticker and ran to pay!  This will look awesome in my kitchen!  This is really the first thing we bought and we had to remove the back window {thank goodness the truck folds down in the back.}  I haven't measured it, but I believe it is about 12 feet long.  The homemade ice cream was the best and so refreshing!

They let me take pictures of their barn!

Awesome bridge we loved

One of the best places we went to was Castine and we met a really nice guy who had a huge building that was packed.  He let us dig through his stuff!  We were totally American Pickers, until the wasp's attacked us!  I left the camera in the truck, but I will always have my memories! Just think junk, rust and lots of digging.  It was amazing!  I came up with an old metal stool and chippy frame. Alina is going back for the old 1800's hutch with white and blue milk paint.  Fabulous!

 Some of the sites we came across

We came across a barn where an old dealer was getting rid of his inventory and ran into his son at several other stops along the way.  The son gave us the shirts and from there on out, every person asked us about our shirts!  As if Alina and I are not social enough! Ha Ha!

We traveled up and sometimes back, down dirt roads and did tons of walking.  We went about 61 miles north on HWY 127. We arrived at 11:30 and left around 8:30  Nine hours of talking, walking and junking for 61 miles.  Time to secure the load and head home.  I still need to sort out my items and I will post pictures soon!

Alina's items after we made it back to Columbus!

Until we meet again 127.

{Sweet finds}

Yea for new batteries and some great finds! Now posting pictures of some of the items I have picked up recently.  Enjoy! I know I did!

Fantastic little old newspaper stand that I painted antique white.  It will look great with some towels in the bathroom.

Sweet Love.... I LOVE these pieces! They were dirty, dark and HEAVY cast iron. I gave them a good clean and paint and they look great next to my fireplace!

The chair in the background will be a chippy white soon! You can find this at my store soon!

Freshly painted little rack it will look delish in the bathroom or kitchen! The little silver plated table lamp was a fantastic find, along with the glass lamp and there is a pink lamp peeking in the back.  A wrought iron candle sconce, the old cream wicker basket and the cream vase complete the look  The painted birds cage is from my sister in law and I am keeping that. Everything else will be in my shop.

These little angels were calling my name. So cute! Too bad the picture is a little blurred..... :(

The crystal goblets are from France with the orginal stickers on them. The light will catch these beautiful pieces.

That little birds cage from my sister in law... LOVE IT

Vintage baby basket.

Wonderful old metal basket that I painted blue and it is so vibrant!

The Urns are Cereamic I think and they are HEAVY!

{Oh Monday}

Hello Bloggerettes!!

As I continue my journey down my "opening my shop" path I am blessed with many awesome finds and some good friends along the ride! I am planning on traveling out west ward to HWY 127 and I cannot wait! I hope that I can bring a friend along and have someone babysit Cheyenne for the day to make things easier for me! I have so many items to share and not enough time (or batteries..oops!) to post all the pictures! I promise that I will be posting pictures soon! I am in the process of painting a few items and the always remodeling our home stage of life! I am super exciting to announce that my hubby will be completing our downstairs flooring.  So until next time!
